    child care provider training

    CDR provides training for child care providers in twelve counties in west, central Alabama. They are Bibb, Choctaw, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties. Training helps child care professionals learn up-to-date techniques and activities to use with infants and young children. Topics include subject areas required by Alabama DHR such as: Health, Safety, and Universal Precautions; Language Development; Child Development; the Child Care Professional & the Family; and Quality Child Care and Licensing.

    Training is offered in Tuscaloosa, in locations accessible by rural providers, and through the Rolling Resources Van. Courses are offered in small and large group settings and via video-tape.
