    What is TOYC?

    Tide's Organization for Young Children (TOYC) is a student professional organization.

    Tide's Organization for Young Children (TOYC) is a sponsored UA program for all undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and other persons in the community who are concerned with the education and welfare of young children.

    The purpose of TOYC is:
    1. To make the community and student more aware of the needs of young children.
    2. To be informed of current legislation and trends concerning young children on the national, and local level.
    3. To stimulate professional growth.
    4. To seek contact with professionals in the field of young children.

    Meeting Day: First Monday of Every Month
    Meeting Time: 4:30 pm
    Meeting Location: Child Development Research Center (CDRC), Room 255

    Why should I join?

    *Connect with other individuals who are practicing professionals in early childhood education and adjacent fields

    *Learn more about early childhood education as a profession, such as: current policies and legislation that impact young children and teachers of young children; relevant professional organizations, like the National Association for the Education of Young Children; and important job readiness skills

    *Build a professional network of peers and colleagues

    * Get involved in our campus and local communities through various events oriented to community service, philanthropic participation, and professional development across the academic year.
